Session 6: Wellspring of Joy ii

The songs in Media for Transformation: Session 6 were inspired by the Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Program text called, Wellspring of Joy. The following is a list of concepts explored in the songs on Session 6:

+ We must redefine joy as a state of being that is informed by reliance on God

+ We make a choice to be joyful, even when life becomes difficult

+ Joy and certitude is developed through prayer and connection with the Creator

+ There is a power that is greater than ourselves that we can draw on to conquer uncertainty or anxious feelings

+ We receive divine assistance when we make effort to achieve noble goals

+ Certitude may not give us instant gratification, but with patience we know we will ultimately receive confirmations

+ We can rely on our Creator in times of difficulty to give us strength
